| HELLO. I got back from Camp Tahkodah Friday evening. Most of camp was really good this year. My cabin was so much fun because the session was overbooked so the 6 oldest girls got put into a cabin that's never been used for campers before... it has air conditioning and the bathroom isn't all nasty concrete... so that was really nice.. but yeah also the fact that there were only 6 of us made it a lot more fun because you got to know everyone better. Two different families lost their Moms within 3 days of camp starting and one of those was the day that camp started... so if you would... please keep the Schol and Evans families in your prayers. Michael's girlfriend, Abby, spent a couple days with us so that was fun. This week I helped with Lift. Those kids are precious. | | |
| This past week I've been at Houston... which went REALLY well. My favorite buddy's name was Martrai. He's a funny kid... and I have plenty of pictures of him that may go on here at some point. Our youth group got much closer which I loved.... I just hate that tomorrow I'm leaving for 2 weeks and they'll probably continue to get closer and I won't be there. 2 weeks... wow that sounds like a lot to me right now. I kinda just want to be at home for a while. I mean, I do love camp... and I'm sure I'll get excited once I get there... but right now.. coming off of a week at Houston and having to play 2 basketball games today... and going to a wedding, I'd love to stay home for a few days. By the way... write me at camp! Louisa Kinzer/ Camp Tahkodah 5095 Camp Tahkodah Rd. Floral, AR 72534
Well... Have a wonderful two weeks

| Impact was AMAZING. The entertainment was pretty good (though for some reason Jr. Impact got much better acts than we did.. [Denver and the Mile High Orchestra, the hypnotist, and Barlow Girl]). We got Grits, Bob Stromberg, an amazing illusionist, and Tait (lead singer from D.C. Talk.. they were good). The theme was Escape. It was my favorite Impact so far. Never in my life have I gotten as much into worshipping as I did this week... it seemed the same for our youth group as a whole too. Jeff Walling spoke most of the time, but a different guy was there the first night, and on Wednesday a guy from the XXX Church spoke to us... that was so interesting. What he does is reaches out to people who come to porn shows and is a light in a dark place. He was an incredible example of evangelism and if you're interested, Maryanne bought his book so ask her about it. We watched clips from Prisoners of Hope every night. One of the guys in the movie came and spoke to us last night. When he first came out he got a standing ovation for probably 5 minutes... it was awesome. Several kids got baptized at Jr. including Britney's little sister Betsy and then at Sr., David Wilson, Chandler Wicks, and Madison Johnson got baptized... it was pretty cool because all of the like 75 kids with us at Senior were baptized by the end of the trip. I just pray that everyone can keep up the attitudes they came home with. Soccer is another thing at Impact that's really fun. Monday was Maryanne's birthday.. Sweet 16. Today is Britney's... not-quite-as-sweet 15 (ha I love you Britney). I got a lot closer to her this week, which I loved. You know how like some girls will notice boys' smiles or eyes or hair or something? Well.... Britney pointed out a boy's nose to me. lol fun times. We got the Fourthwatch cd... ha it's a good cd. My roomates were Ashley and Maryanne... DORM MOTHA, there is no otha like dorm motha, so treat her right, treat her right! Maryanne.. I always love spending time with you, and this week was no exception.. Buddy Nana... leaving the dorm to "get your camera". John came on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday night....what a good guy he is. He left for Trek on Thursday morning and the next time I'll see him is maybe like 2 weeks into August... When we got home today Ian and I went to eat and then we went to the pool for a couple hours. Then we got home and Heath did shortly after. It's going to be nice to sleep in my own bed again tonight... actually I think I'm gonna go do that very soon... yes... at 7:45.. I'm worn out. Have a wonderful evening. Love, Louisa | | |
| HELLO! This week was fun. Wednesday morning I helped with VBS and then later John came into town to help his grandparents out some so we went to church and then bowling with some people. Thursday I had basketball at 1, but I went at 8:30 because I didn't know it had gotten changed... that kinda stunk just because it would've been the only day I could've slept in for like 3 weeks (starting off Impact being tired is never good), but it was all right. That night Britney, John, and I went to the park to feed the ducks, some of which were incredibly ugly and were too good for our food. Then we went to the thrift store and then back to my house and built a fire (well, sort of... it only lasted about 3 minutes). Friday morning we left for basketball camp... which ended up being a ton of fun. We only won 1 of our 4 games, and one of them.. we didn't play near as well as we should've, but it was still really fun. We took Olivia back to Impact on the way home and John and his intern Matt Preston met us for dinner. When I got home, Ian picked me up and we went straight to Banga's to spend the night then this morning got up early to come get ready and go to Mayfair. After church, I went to lunch and to get a birthday present for Maryanne with Britney and we very randomly saw Todd. But anyway, then Maryanne came out of Picadilly and met up with us and we went to a bunch of stores and Maryanne was having a really dumb day... lol you crack me up. We ended up getting her some BRIGHT ORANGE Auburn scrubs. We leave for Impact tomorrow and I am SO excited. Well I really need to go finish up on some laundry and then go to Wal-Mart. Have a wonderful week. Love, Louisa | | |
| Hello! Yesterday I helped with Service with a Smile and then got a haircut and then went back to church to play four-square and then people came over here for dinner and games. This morning I helped with VBS and then went to lunch at the Taco Bell on WHITESBURG (lol Jamie sorry about that..) with Ian and Jamie. Heath and the other interns left for Impact earlier. Mom and I just read a story about a little boy who died at Disney World on the ride, Mission: Space... I went on that like 2 months ago. How scary is that. My dad said the ride is up and running again, too.... it's hard for me to believe that they wouldn't shut the ride down. Ummm me and mom are about to go look for curtains and paint for my room... hopefully they will be redoing my room while I'm at camp.. by the way.. send me mail while I'm there please! I'll put the address on here when it gets closer to time. Hey guess what I found out yesterday..... open this link and then scroll down to the last paragraph... http://www.al.com/hssoccer/birminghamnews/index.ssf?/base/sports/1118654204240683.xml&coll=2 ...
so yeah, that's pretty cool... even though they mispelled both of our names (Maryanne and me). Kelli Wilkinson is actually on the team. All-Metro comes out in the paper tomorrow, I heard. I'm pretty sure think Maryanne and Kelli made it and maybe I'm honorable mention, again. O well... maybe next year... what I'm excited about is the state one though, even though it's just honorable mention... it's state. Maryanne gets home from the beach today.. and John is on his way to Huntsville right now, and maybe Ben too, I don't know... so I'm excited about those things. Ok well Mom and I are going now... Bye.
